Hi, I’m Chrissy D!
I am a bridal makeup artist who specializes in natural makeup, natural glam makeup and full glam makeup. I pride myself on communication and education of makeup looks that will compliment you for your biggest events in life! Being comfortable and confident in the makeup I provide is my absolute goal.

My story - how it started
A makeup artist of over 16 years, I always knew I wanted this career path.
Makeup has always been my life. Since picking up my first brush at 14 years old and creating my own makeup looks out of thin air and not through social media and social trends shows how much I love makeup. Getting my Cosmetology license in high school is still by far one of my biggest accomplishments as it brought me to where I am today.
After graduating high school I started working for MAC Cosmetics and continued my career with them for 7 years. During my time with MAC cosmetics I was educated by the brand quarterly on new trends and new ways to increase my talent through artistry tips and tricks. I worked dozens upon dozens of New York Fashion week shows for top designers like, Christian Siriano, Oscar De La Renta, Thom Browne, Jeremy Scott, just to name a few. Fashion shows are where I fell in love with natural makeup and enhancing features on the face without using a ton of products. Makeup at the time did not have a natural approach but I embraced it anyway. Majority of my clientele were high glam at MAC but I began practicing the natural approach on my own face and in doing so started attracting a wider range of clientele.
By the time I left MAC in 2016 I had clientele that wanted me for all their events and were recommending me regardless of not working for MAC anymore. I realized it was time to expand and increase my craft the way I wanted to on my own and through my own company.

After glamming quite literally 100’s of faces fast forward to 2020 where I thought it was time to create an “official” makeup business and expand to instagram and the Knot. I am so incredibly thankful that even with my late start to social media how these platforms catapulted me in reaching an even larger audience than just through word of mouth.
And now you’re here! After working 100’s of weddings since 2020 I wanted to create this website as a staple for anyone wanting to look into me as an artist more. Aside from the instagram platform or the knot. To be able to see my website, curated to showcase not only my work but who I am as an artist and person. I hope this website makes you feel even more confident in my artistry and solidifies why you should trust/choose me for your next big event!

Chrissy did my makeup for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and wedding - I genuinely have never felt more beautiful. She has the best personality and is so fun and easy to work it.
